The perfect introduction to the Isle of Islay, Port Askaig 8 Year Old has a smooth, sweet and perfectly balanced peaty character. Aging in refilled American oak allows the spirit's character to shine through for a smooth, smoky and flavorful dram.

A very fresh aroma with notes of grated lemon peel combined with a hint of intense smoky notes. A mixture of sweet fruit aromas and spicy garden herbs in the taste.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Lemon zest and charcoal smoke with warming barley just turned on the malt floor.
Gaumen
Palate		 Limestone, snow peas and a layer of dark peat. Honeysuckle interwoven with liquorice sweetness.
Abgang
Finish		 Fresh aromas of rock salt and black pepper linger as the smoke slowly fades away.
