Collection Glenrothes - Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Glenrothes is a Speyside single malt Scotch whiskey produced at the Glenrothes distillery in the town of Rothes, in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland.

Glenrothes is renowned for its quality, structure and taste, the result of over 140 years of whiskey making tradition. Since opening, the distillery's whiskey has been one of the most sought-after in Speyside. In 2018, the Glenrothes 25 Year Old was awarded the Ultimate Spirits Challenge's highest accolade, the Chairman's Trophy for Best Speyside Single Malt.

Under the ownership of Berry Bros. & Rudd, vintage bottlings of The Glenrothes were made from 1993 onwards. The 2004 vintage is believed to be the last known vintage bottled by the distillery.

The Glenrothes is aged primarily in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks made to specifications in Jerez, Spain. Ex-Bourbon casks are also used, but to a much lesser extent.

Special bottlings include "single cask" bottles, which come from a single whiskey cask of a specific vintage. Glenrothes' house style is rich, full-bodied and elegant. The whiskey delivers a ripe bouquet of fruit and creamy vanilla, sometimes spicier, sometimes more floral.
