Since Wemyss Malts was founded in 2005, the company has been run independently by sibling duo William and Isabella, who are related to the Scottish Wemyss family.

Delighted by his time spent with expert wine blenders in the south of France, William Wemyss was inspired to create distinctive and bold Scotch whiskeys. Isabella Wemyss, who has an eye and a nose for uncompromising quality, began sourcing exquisite single malts from Scotland and the very best oak casks from around the world.
