Collection Jameson - Irish Whiskey

Jameson is an Irish blended whiskey produced by Pernod Ricard's subsidiary Irish Distillers. Jameson was originally one of the six most important Dublin whiskeys from the Jameson Distillery Bow St. Today it is distilled in the New Midleton Distillery in County Cork.

It is by far the best-selling Irish whiskey in the world; it has been sold internationally since the early 19th century and is available in over 130 countries.

Jameson is made from a blend of grain whiskey and single pot still whiskey using a blend of malted and unmalted or 'green' Irish barley, all sourced within 50 miles of the Cork distillery. The barley is dried in a closed kiln fired with natural gas (formerly anthracite coal). This is in contrast to the traditional method used at some Scotch whiskey distilleries, which fires the kiln with peat, creating a distinctive peat aroma.
