Willowburn - Single Malt German Whisky

Willowburn is the finely spiced and pleasantly aromatic single malt from the Hercynian Distillery. The name Willowburn derives from the location of the distillery headquarters and the town of Wieda with the river of the same name - Wieda, from Weida, the place of the willows.

Since this finely-spicy single malt is neither as mild as an ELSBURN nor as intense as a woody-smoky THE ALRIK or even an EMPEROR'S WAY, it got its own name.

The Willowburn whiskeys usually mature in selected southern and sweet wine casks or hand-picked high-quality ex-bourbon casks.
