Collection Bladnoch - Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Bladnoch Distillery is a single malt Scotch whiskey distillery in south-west Scotland. It is one of six remaining Lowland distilleries in Bladnoch near Wigtown, Dumfries and Galloway. Located on the banks of the River Bladnoch, the distillery is the most southerly whiskey distillery in Scotland.

A year after it was closed by United Distillers, the defunct distillery was discovered by the Armstrong brothers while vacationing in the region in 1994. After spending several years finding and replacing the old plant and equipment, the distillery was reopened in the late 2000's.

The first 8-year-old single malt produced by the Armstrong brothers was released in 2009. The company that operates Bladnoch Distillery, Co-Ordinated Development Services, went bankrupt on March 10, 2014.
