Collection Roe & Co - Irish Whiskey

Roe & Co Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in 2019. It is located on Thomas Street in Dublin, Ireland, near Guinness' St James' Gate Brewery.

The Thomas Street Distillery, run by the Roe family, was once the largest in Britain and Ireland, producing two million gallons a year in its heyday. It was opposite Guinness' St. James' Gate Brewery. After the distillery closed in 1926, some of its buildings were acquired and incorporated into the Guinness brewery.

In January 2017, Diageo, the maker of Guinness, announced that it would invest €25 million to build a new distillery in the brewery's old powerhouse. Production at the new distillery will start in the first half of 2019.

Roe & Co is a new contemporary blend, named in honor of a whiskey maker whose distillery was the largest in Ireland at the time.
