Ardmore - Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ardmore Distillery sits at the highest point on the Northern Railway Line, 600 feet above sea level. Close to the small village of Kennethmont, when founded by Adam Teacher in 1898, its proximity to the railway line enabled the transport of materials from Glasgow to this remote corner of Aberdeenshire and helped the distillery thrive.


Little has changed since the moment he realized his dream. Water is still drawn from the naturally occurring springs atop 1,500ft Knockandy Hill.
