Kamet - Indian Single Malt Whisky

The story of Kamet Distillery begins on the third highest peak in the Himalayas, Mt. Kamet. For thousands of years, the land below the Kamet has been a breadbasket for the Indian people, who find water and agricultural food here.

The distillery features signature Scottish whiskey stills that were installed in 2012. The still resembles a lamp glass, while the spirit still features a boiling ball in the cone area to increase reflux, resulting in a light, floral and fruity spirit.

Kamet was developed by Ansh Khanna and Master Sommelier Ken Fredrickson who believed that India is one of the best places in the world for whiskey making due to the unique six-row barley and special ripening conditions. It is a joint venture between Peak Spirits and Piccadily Distillery.
