Collection Glenlivet - Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Glenlivet Distillery is a distillery near Ballindalloch in Moray, Scotland that produces single malt Scotch whiskey. It is the oldest legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet and the production site of the Scottish whiskey of the same name.

It was founded in 1824 and has been in operation almost continuously ever since. The distillery remained open through the Great Depression, and the only closure was during World War II. In the post-war period, the Glenlivet distillery has developed into one of the largest single malt distilleries. The Glenlivet brand is the best-selling single malt whiskey in the United States and the second largest single malt brand in the world.

Today the distillery is owned by French beverage maker Pernod Ricard, who also oversees the production of 5,900,000 liters of whiskey per year. Most of this - enough for 6 million bottles - is sold as The Glenlivet Single Malt, with the remainder being used for Pernod Ricard's blended whiskey brands.
