Collection Glenglassaugh Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Located in Speyside , Glenglassaugh Distillery is a malt Scotch whiskey distillery which resumed production in November 2008 after being acquired by an independent group of investors. The distillery reopened on November 24, 2008 after a complete renovation by the new owners.

Despite suffering from a distinct lack of inventory and its new spirit still largely immature, the Glenglassaugh Distillery Company was turning a profit just three years after reopening the site - four years ahead of schedule. The success can be attributed to a loyal international fan base and the pioneering achievement of selling immature casks to private customers.

After getting Glenglassaugh back to prosperity and saving it from permanent closure, the Scaent Group sold the distillery to The BenRiach Distillery Co. in 2013.

Glenglassaugh was now the third distillery to be operated by Billy Walker's company - alongside Benriach and Glendronach - and was sold along with its stablemates to Jack Daniel's producer Brown-Forman in 2016.
