Collection Rossville Union - American Straight Rye Whiskey
In 1847, in the midst of rye's golden age, George Ross established Lawrenceburg's principal distillery . Its name was Rossville Distillery, and for nearly two centuries it has built a reputation for producing some of the finest rye whiskey in the world. One of Lawrenceburg's original distilleries, it holds the distinction of being the oldest operating distillery in Indiana.
Aside from a brief switch to industrial production during Prohibition, she has continued to produce fine spirits ever since. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions over the years, it has been owned by Seagram's, Pernod Ricard, and others. However, since 2011 it has been the flagship of MGP - one of the largest producers of whiskey, gin and other spirits.
Rossville Union Master Crafted Straight Rye Whiskeys pay homage to the historic Ross & Squibb Distillery and Lawrenceburg's mastery of rye whiskey. With deep respect for America's original spirit, the distillery set out to create a rye whiskey that blends new American craftsmanship with the soul of 1847 . The result is unmistakably bold and unapologetically spirited. The new golden age of rye has officially begun.
