Aged in ex-Marsanne casks, Small Batch 2022 is part of Ninkasi's ephemeral range. This is a whiskey series that arose from the encounters between French winegrowers and master distiller Alban Perret.
This single malt was aged for 3 years and 10 months in barrels of French white wine whose grape variety is called Marsanne.
TASTING NOTES
| Nase Nose |
The first note that pours out of the glass is reminiscent of a cocoa bean. Then the whiskey takes on an oxidative accent: yellow wine, plums and dehydrated mushrooms are in the foreground. Notes of heather honey follow, accompanied by butterscotch caramel. |
