Kingsbarns Balcomie is a fruity, light and well-balanced whiskey bottled from American oak ex-sherry butts.

Distilled from Fife barley, this single malt is matured in 100% ex-sherry Jerez American oak casks specially selected by Isabella Wemyss for their smooth oak flavors and sherry-rich sweetness to bring out the fruity character of the Kingsbarns spirit add to. The perfect balance between the spirit and the wood.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Syrup, sultanas, fruitcake with cinnamon glaze, hints of dark chocolate with summer berries.
Gaumen
Palate		 Sweet canned pineapple in the foreground, orange peel, cake spice.
Abgang
Finish		 Lots of dried apricots and a hint of roasted hazelnuts on the finish.

    Die Geschichte von Kingsbarns Single Malt Scotch Whisky beginnt mit der Umwandlung eines historischen, halb verfallenen Bauernhofs in eine Brennerei.

    Dieses charmante georgianische Gehöft wurde um 1800 von Thomas Erskine, dem neunten Earl of Kellie, als Teil der East Newhall Farm erbaut und diente einst dem Cambo House und dem Anwesen.
