  • Glen Garioch - Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    Glen Garioch (im alten dorischen Dialekt, der in dieser Gegend immer noch gesprochen wird, "Geery" ausgesprochen) ist eine der ältesten Brennereien Schottlands - und die östlichste.

    Seit 1797 wird in der malerischen und historischen Marktstadt Oldmeldrum in der Nähe von Aberdeen im Nordosten Schottlands das mächtige Malz hergestellt.

    Abgeschirmt von den neugierigen Blicken der Welt, tief in der fruchtbaren "Kornkammer von Aberdeenshire", und immer nur in kleinen, kostbaren Chargen hergestellt, ist Glen Garioch in der Tat ein seltener Fund, der jedoch von all jenen sehr geschätzt wird, die einen herzhaften Highland-Malt mögen.

    Der Whisky ist nicht kältegefiltert, wie es die Natur vorgesehen hat, und hat eine gesunde Malzigkeit, eine honigartige Süße und eine köstliche, cremige Textur aufweist, die man wahrhaftig genießen kann.
