DESCRIPTION
Im äußersten Westen Europas liegt im kleinen Örtchen Dingle eine der wenigen unabhängigen Destillerien Irlands. Hinter der Dingle Distillery erstreckt sich nichts als der tiefe, unendlich scheinende Atlantik. Durch die Nähe zum Ozean reifen die Whiskeys der Brennerei in einem milden, maritimen Mikroklima. Leise und doch bemerkenswert spricht es durch den Inhalt der geprägten Flaschen zu Genießergaumen.

Abgesehen vom Standard Single Malt, der im Mai releast wurde, produziert Dingle Single Malts in kleinen Batches von Hand – und macht sie zu unnachahmlich individuellen Erlebnissen. Gleich Schnappschüssen erstellen sie eine geschmackliche Momentaufnahme und fangen so den Ort in jedem Small Batch Release ein.

Das neue Small Batch Release No.6 reifte als erste Abfüllung der Iren ausschließlich in Tawny Port Casks. Die portugiesischen Fässer bringen eine wunderbare Intensität in den Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey ein mit Noten von Marmelade, Butterscotch und kandiertem Ingwer, Cranberrys, Schokolade und Gewürzen.

TASTING NOTES
Nose Das Portweinfass liefert eine wunderbare Intensität. In Ahornsirup eingelegte Waffeln, dick geschnittene Marmelade, Karamell und kristallisierter Ingwer.
Palate Der Geschmack ist voll von Früchten und Gewürzen. Mit Sirup überzogene Strohwaffeln, Johannisbeergelee, zerdrückte Preiselbeeren, Lebkuchen und dunkle Schokolade.
Finish ebendig mit zunehmender Süße. Ingwergewürz und honigsüße Datteln treten in den Vordergrund.
