Kanosuke - single malt whiskey from Japan

Opened in 2018, Kanosuke Distillery was founded by Komasa Jyozo, who has been making traditional spirits like shochu since 1883.

The distillery is located amidst several buildings on a sprawling 9,000 square meter site on Fukiagehama Beach on the west coast of Kagoshima Prefecture.

One of the distillery's greatest advantages is the fact that it has three stills instead of two as is common with similar sized craft distilleries around the world.

Each of the three pot stills has a different neck shape and lyne arm angle. Both by using different stills for redistillation and by blending newly made spirits from different stills, the distillery can produce whiskey with richer flavors and
offer flavors.
