Distilled in 2005 and crafted at the Perthshire distillery, Murray Double Wood is aged in first fill bourbon casks before being transferred to first fill sherry casks for a second period of aging.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 The Expression offers a delightful rich honey sweetness layered with vanilla ice cream, hints of dark chocolate and dried figs. Over time, subtle sherry flavors combine with citrus and peaches.
Gaumen
Palate		 Soft notes of honey, sherry fruit and cinnamon with hints of espresso and strawberries.
Abgang
Finish		 Soft with gently spiced sherry.

  • Tullibardine - Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    Die Tullibardine Distillery ist eine schottische Brennerei, die seit 1949 einen Single Malt Whisky herstellt. Die Whisky-Destillerie befindet sich in Blackford, Perth und Kinross, in der Nähe der Ochil Hills und des Danny Burn, ihrer Hauptwasserquellen.

    Die Destillerie wurde 1995 vom damaligen Eigentümer Whyte & Mackay eingemottet.

    Im Jahr 2003 wurde sie an die Tullibardine Distillery Ltd. verkauft, die die Produktion wieder aufnahm.

    Im Jahr 2011 wurde die Brennerei an das französische Unternehmen Picard Vins & Spiritueux verkauft. Diese Firma gründete 2013 ein Unternehmen für die Spirituosen mit dem Namen Terroirs Distillers.

    Die Brennerei stellt mehrere Arten von Single Malt Whisky her, darunter "Aged Oak Edition Single Malt Whisky" und "Sherry Finish Malt Whisky", sowie entsprechende Liköre.
