This is an example of a totally unique style within Irish whiskey.

This Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is made from an unconventional mash consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley. It has been triple distilled and matured exclusively in French oak (ex-Cabernet Sauvignon) red wine casks from California, creating a truly unique Irish whiskey.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Spicy and fruity notes blending with an underlying sweet, sugary note.

Palate		 Silky smooth mouthfeel, with hints of spice and deep berry notes balancing the sweet undertones.

    Die Teeling Distillery ist eine irische Whiskey-Destillerie, die 2015 von der Teeling Whiskey Company in Dublin gegründet wurde.

    Sie ist die erste neue Whiskey-Destillerie, die in Dublin, der einstigen Welthauptstadt der Whiskey-Destillerie, seit über 125 Jahren eröffnet wurde.

    Nachdem die letzte der ursprünglichen Dubliner Brennereien 1976 geschlossen wurde, ist es die erste Whiskey-Destillerie, die in Dublin, wo einst mindestens 37 Brennereien angesiedelt waren, seit fast 40 Jahren in Betrieb ist.

    Die Destillerie wurde von Jack und Stephen Teeling gegründet, deren Vater John Teeling 1987 die monopolbrechende Cooley Distillery gegründet hatte. Das Symbol der Marke, ein aus einer Brennblase aufsteigender Phönix, symbolisiert die Wiederbelebung der Whiskeymarke Teeling.

    Die Teeling-Whiskeys wurden bereits mit mehreren Auszeichnungen bedacht.
