Strathmill - Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Strathmill ist eine von drei Brennereien in der Stadt Keith in Moray, im Herzen des "Malt Whisky Country".
Im Gegensatz zu den beiden anderen Brennereien von Keith, Strathisla und Glen Keith, ist Strathmill nicht im Besitz von Chivas (Teil der Pernod-Ricard-Gruppe), sondern seit 1997 von Diageo, die sie für die Herstellung von Blends wie J&B Whisky betreibt.
Ursprünglich befand sich auf dem Gelände eine Getreidemühle, die 1823 von A. G. Johnstone als Strathisla Mills gegründet wurde. Nach einem Boom in der Whiskyindustrie zwischen 1890 und 1899 wurde sie 1891 in eine Brennerei umgewandelt.
