  • Scarabus - Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    Scarabus ist ein abgelegener Bauernhof etwa zwei Meilen nördlich von Bridgend, ungefähr in der Mitte zwischen den Lochs Skerrols und Cam in Schottland.

    Die Scarabuss-Brennerei wurde 1817 an John Darrock & Co. lizenziert, aber im folgenden Jahr geschlossen. Die Farm, auf der sich die Brennerei befand, wird heute von einem Herrn A. H. Kerr betrieben.

    Scarabus stammt aus einer ungenannten Islay-Destillerie und wird von Hunter Laing abgefüllt.
