BESCHREIBUNG
The Macallan distillery is based in Speyside, which is probably the most famous of the Scottish whiskey regions. In the past, the distillery operators found the ideal conditions for the production of fine distillates here. There are still a large number of active distilleries in Speyside today, which have built up enormous competence in the production of their spirits specialties over the decades and centuries.

In this sense, the Macallan 12 year old Double Cask is something special. As the name suggests, it was matured in two different types of casks. These were American oak and European oak sherry casks.

The whiskey was allowed to mature in them for a total of 12 years in order to absorb the fine aromas of the wood.

  • The Macallan - Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
