One of Scotland's oldest whiskey families, the Morrisons have been on Islay for five generations strongly represented. Mac-Talla, meaning 'echo' in Scots Gaelic, perfectly reflects the Morrison family's connection to Islay, with frequent trips to the famous whiskey island.

Each whiskey in the Mac Talla range has been sculpted by the weathered shores of Islay. Non-chill filtered and with no added coloring, it's a taste of the untamed that leaves a lasting impression.

Strata, plural of stratum, refers to the many igneous rock formations along the rugged, stunning Islay coastline and landscapes. Waiting is often a determining factor of quality in the world of whiskey and Strata's rich, balanced character is a tribute to time.

The 15 year old single malt is as complex and layered as the rocks that support Islay. Selected bourbon barrels and sherry casks were used for the Strata married to each other.
