Koval is Yiddish and means "black sheep" - or that someone achieves something extraordinary. Like the founders of the Koval Distillery. In 2008, Robert and Sonatbircker gave up their academic careers. The distillery expert and lecturer in distillation and the history professor exchanged books for stills and founded Koval, the largest independent craft distillery in the USA.
With a mash percentage of 51% corn and 49% millet, KOVAL Bourbon offers a drinking experience that is balanced, accessible and unparalleled. The unusual grain combination provides notes of mango chutney and vanilla on the palate, with a peppery caramel finish.
