TASTING NOTES

Nase Nose	An opening note of intense campfire smoke that blends with ripe summer drupe, peach, plum and cherry. Deep notes of marzipan take center stage, combined with complex maritime notes.
Gaumen Palate	The red wine barrels bring pepper and spices to the first taste. Dry, salty peat smoke settles on the palate, but fruity notes of apricot and lemon also find their way through.
Abgang Finish	A long finish that brings a sharp, spicy character from the marriage in Portuguese red wine casks. Stewed, cooked fruit notes provide a sweet marmalade profile and a lingering sweetness that's beautifully balanced by the classic Kilchoman smoke.
