DESCRIPTION
Dieser Single Malt Whisky ist die dritte Abfüllung der Cask Editions-Reihe aus der Brennerei der Insel Hedbride auf Jura.

Der Jura Rum Cask Finish reifte zunächst in Ex-Bourbon-Fässern aus amerikanischer Weißeiche, bevor er für eine Finishing-Phase in Ex-Rumfässer aus der Karibik umgefüllt wurde. Der Jura Rum Cask Finish wird mit 40% ABV abgefüllt.

TASTING NOTES
Nose Voller lebendiger und fruchtiger Aromen. Goldener Sirup und Honig mischen sich mit getrockneter Ananas und Mango, mit einem Hauch von grünem Apfel und Kakao. Lebkuchen und Zimt.
Palate Die tropischen Früchte aus der Nase, insbesondere die Ananas und der Pfirsich, sind ausdrucksstark und haben eine köstliche Lebendigkeit. Diese Noten werden von bittersüßem Gerstenmalz und einem Hauch von weichem und sanftem Torfrauch aus der Ferne unterstützt. Noten von Vanille, Kokosnuss und Backgewürzen (insbesondere Zimt).
Finish Kurz und süß mit wärmenden Gewürzen und Honig.

  • Jura - Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    The Jura Distillery is a Scottish whisky distillery located on the Isle of Jura in the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland.

    The distillery is owned by Whyte and Mackay, a company founded and based in Glasgow. The Jura Distillery was established in the 1960s, although it stands on the site of an earlier distillery that was closed in 1910. The first single malts from the modern distillery were launched in 1974, but they only became widely available after the acquisition by Whyte & Mackay in 1993.

    One of the most recent additions to the range is the limited edition Cask Finishes series.
