Dieser Jura 29 Jahre ist ein alter Isle of Jura Single Malt, der von den unabhängigen Abfüllern The Single Malts of Scotland (Elixir Distillers) in ihrer "A Marriage of Casks"-Serie abgefüllt wurde.

Diese Abfüllung ist eine Vermählung von fünf Ex-Bourbon-Fässern, die alle zwischen 1991 und 1992 abgefüllt wurden, und wurde schließlich in natürlicher Fassstärke von 42,9 % ABV, nicht kältegefiltert und ohne Farbzusatz abgefüllt.

  • Jura - Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    The Jura Distillery is a Scottish whisky distillery located on the Isle of Jura in the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland.

    The distillery is owned by Whyte and Mackay, a company founded and based in Glasgow. The Jura Distillery was established in the 1960s, although it stands on the site of an earlier distillery that was closed in 1910. The first single malts from the modern distillery were launched in 1974, but they only became widely available after the acquisition by Whyte & Mackay in 1993.

    One of the most recent additions to the range is the limited edition Cask Finishes series.

    As an independent bottler, Elixir Distillers searches for casks from various distilleries in Scotland to find the best malts. Each cask is tasted, and only when it is deemed to be of the highest quality is it bottled in their Single Malts of Scotland series as a single cask or as part of a small batch.

    Many of the bottlings from Single Malts of Scotland have received awards and have been praised by critics. As it becomes increasingly difficult to find such old casks, it is unlikely that any whisky will ever be repeated.

    Each bottling is one of a limited number, making it perfect as a special gift or offering the chance to try something truly unique.
