Handpicked by Distillery Manager Graham Logan, Jura Distillery Cask Feis Ile Edition 2021 was distilled on October 30, 2002 and bottled in May 2021. A stunning unpeated whiskey fully matured in a refill ex-sherry cask from Jerez, Spain.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Candied almonds, toasted marshmallows and sweet Scottish tablets.
Gaumen
Palate		 Rich chocolate orange, syrup, demerara sugar and a finish of sticky sweet salted caramel.
Abgang
Finish		 Persistent notes of chalk and mint, finally some juicy fruit.

    Die Jura-Brennerei ist eine schottische Whisky-Brennerei auf der Insel Jura in den Inneren Hebriden vor der Westküste Schottlands. Die Brennerei gehört dem in Glasgow gegründeten und ansässigen Unternehmen Whyte and Mackay.

    Die Jura-Brennerei wurde in den 1960er Jahren gegründet, obwohl sie auf dem Gelände einer früheren Brennerei steht, die 1910 geschlossen wurde.

    Die ersten Single Malts aus der modernen Brennerei wurden 1974 auf den Markt gebracht, aber erst nach der Übernahme durch Whyte & MacKay im Jahr 1993 wurden sie allgemein erhältlich.

    Eine der jüngsten Ergänzungen des Sortiments ist die limitierte Auflage der Cask Finishes-Serie.
