DESCRIPTION

Die Isle of Raasay Hebridean Distillers sind echte Pioniere. Seit Gründung ihrer Brennerei wird erstmals legal Whisky auf der wildschönen Hebrideninsel gebrannt.

„Na Sia“ (gälisch für „die Sechs“) nennen die Inselbrenner ihr einzigartiges Whiskyrezept. Es kombiniert getorfte sowie ungetorfte Rohbrände der Brennerei. Beide Rohbrandsorten reifen separat voneinander an Raasays Küste in jeweils drei Fasstypen: First Fill Rye Whiskey Casks, Virgin Chinkapin Oak Casks und First Fill Bordeaux Red Wine Casks.

In der Na Sia Single Cask Serie kommen die unverwechselbaren Aromen jedes dieser sechs Fässer einzeln zur Geltung.

In einem außen rot gefärbten, hochwertigen Bordeaux-Rotweinfass frisch von den „Châteaus“ im Südwesten Frankreichs reift der Peated First Fill Bordeaux Red Wine Cask. Dabei entwickeln sich üppige Noten von dunklen Früchten und Trockenfrüchten, die sich harmonisch mit Holzrauch oder maritimen Einschlägen verbinden.

Isle of Raasay - Islands Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The Isle of Raasay Distillery is a remarkable and unique distillery on the Isle of Raasay in Scotland. It was founded in 2017 and is the first legal distillery on the island, meticulously designed to produce the finest Scottish whisky. The distillery uses water drawn directly from the island's well, Tobar na Ba Bàine, and combines it with exclusively Scottish barley to create their spirits.
