Der Glencadam 10 Jahre „The Rather Delicate“ ist ein herausragender Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, der für seine delikate und ausgewogene Aromenvielfalt bekannt ist. Mit einer Alkoholstärke von 46% und ohne kühle Filtration oder Farbzusätze behält dieser Whisky seinen wahren, reinen Geschmack.

In der Nase bietet der Glencadam 10 Jahre ein spritziges und frisches Aroma mit tropischen Früchten und Zitrusnoten, abgerundet durch eine sanfte Vanillesüße und Backgewürze. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Whisky hell und grasig, mit Schichten von Ananas, Zitronenquark und Brioche, begleitet von Akzenten der Zitrusschalen. Der Abgang ist sauber und knackig mit Noten von gelben Früchten, Vanilleschote und Muskatnussgewürzen, was ein rundes Geschmackserlebnis verspricht.

Dieser Whisky ist ein Produkt der Glencadam-Destillerie, die in der antiken Stadt Brechin in Angus, Schottland, ansässig ist und für ihre hochwertigen Single Malt Whiskys bekannt ist. Die Brennerei, die 1825 eröffnet wurde, hat eine reiche Geschichte und ist heute die einzige Brennerei in der Grafschaft Angus.

  • Glencadam - Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    The Glencadam Distillery is a distillery in Brechin, Angus, Scotland, is owned by Angus Dundee plc and produces a malt whisky. The rest of the production is sold to blenders or used within Angus Dundee for the production of blended whisky brands.

    Glencadam was mothballed during both World Wars. The warehouses were instead used as barracks for soldiers. On the lawn next to Warehouse No. 2, the spot where the commissariats were located can still be seen.

    Glencadam was acquired by Hiram Walker in the 1950s, which later became Allied Domeq, closing the distillery in 2000.

    Glencadam Single Malt has always been a premium whisky for blending and, as such, was highly sought after for some of the world's most prestigious blends.

    On June 1, 2003, Glencadam was finally purchased by Angus Dundee Distillers, an independent Scottish company. Angus Dundee immediately resumed production, and in December 2005, we launched our first single malt product, Glencadam Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 15 Years. This whisky was introduced in November 2009 with new packaging and a 10-year-old bottling.
