The **Foursquare Raconteur Rum, 17 years old**, is a limited edition released in January 2023. This single blended rum, resulting from the esteemed collaboration between Luca Gargano of Velier and Richard Seale of the Foursquare distillery, is limited to just 4,800 bottles worldwide.

The Foursquare Raconteur stands out due to its complex production and aging process. It comprises a blend of rums distilled using both Column Coffey Stills and Double Retort Pot Stills. Part of the rum aged for 17 years in ex-bourbon barrels, while another part aged for five years in ex-bourbon barrels followed by an additional twelve years in ex-oloroso sherry barrels. This double maturation imparts remarkable depth and complexity to the rum.

Bottled at cask strength with an alcohol content of 61%, the Raconteur offers an intense tasting experience. Its aroma profile includes notes of vanilla, caramel, coconut, tropical fruits, and raisins. The palate reveals nuances of wood, spices, chocolate, and dried fruits, leading to a long, warm finish.
