    Dalwhinnie bezeichnet seinen eigenen Whisky als Highland Whisky, da die Speyside-Region vollständig zu den Highlands gehört und die Speyside-Brennereien nach den SWA-Bestimmungen legal entweder als Highland oder Speyside bezeichnet werden können.
