DESCRIPTION

Caol Ila spiegelt nicht nur seine rauchige, gemälzte Gerste wider, sondern ist auch ölig und torfig, mit Meeres- und Pflanzennoten.

TASTING NOTES

Nase Nose	Noten von Aprikose, Kirschen in Brandy, weißem Pfirsich und Rosinen lassen Aromen von gemälzter Gerste, Jod, Rauch und getrocknetem Torf in den Hintergrund treten. Nach einer Weile: Pfeffer, gesalzenes Butterkaramell, Schokolade, Orange und berauschende Blumen (Hyazinthe, Pfingstrose).
Gaumen Palate	Torf, Asche und Kampfer erscheinen neben Milchschokolade, Heidehonig und Aprikosencoulis. Die Schokolade wird allmählich dunkel, mit wässriger Bitterkeit und zitronigem und fruchtigem (Birne) Geist.
Abgang Finish	Lang, leicht fleischig (Speck, Leder). Eine gewisse Mineralität erinnert an die Wärme eines Schornsteins.
