Zur herausragenden Range der unabhängigen Abfüller gehören u.a. die Small-Batch-Abfüllungen der Reihe Reserve Casks, die zu „parcels“ vermählt werden.

Exklusiv für den deutschen Markt hat Elixir Master Blender Oliver Chilton nun ein Paket aus drei Fässern zum Ben Nevis 2013/2022 geschnürt. Für deren Inhalt verantwortlich: die Ben Nevis Distillery.

Die Brennerei vom Fuße des gleichnamigen Berges produziert Single Malt mit Ecken und Kanten, etwa durch kurze Fermentation und kurze Destillation in der Spirit Still. Den ausdrucksstarken, zugleich ausgewogenen Highlander kombiniert Chilton nach 8 Jahren Reifung zu einem Genusserlebnis mit leicht erhöhter Trinkstärke von 48% vol.
