Aultmore 12 Year Old is an ex-bourbon matured, unpeated single malt Scotch whiskey designed to compete with entry-level offerings from Diageo and Chivas. It's a refreshing dram with lots of vanilla, honey and citrus fruits and a hint of grassiness.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Light and floral with some green fruit notes (pears, green apples, green grapes) with hints of light floral vanilla, lemon and lime.
Gaumen
Palate		 Medium-bodied and creamy, with more pear and green grape notes. Hints of grain (barley) and sweetness.
Abgang
Finish		 Clean, medium-length finish, with some lingering floral honey sweetness.

    Die Aultmore Destillerie wurde 1897 von Alexander Edward, einem der bekanntesten schottischen Brenner, auf dem Höhepunkt des spätviktorianischen Whisky-Booms gegründet.

    Der Aultmore Single Malt wurde an die großen Blending-Häuser der damaligen Zeit geliefert und erfreute sich bei ihnen großer Beliebtheit, da die Brennerei große Bewunderung für die Sanftheit ihres Geistes auf sich zog. Tatsächlich sind seine Qualitäten so fein und ausgewogen, dass er bald einer der wenigen Single Malts war, die von Branchenexperten als "Top Class" eingestuft wurden.
