BESCHREIBUNG
Limited to 5,000 bottles, this unique edition of Whiksy Armorik reflects the know-how of the men and women of the Warenghem distillery. This 10-year-old whiskey Armorik was able to fully develop its characteristic fruity notes while maintaining an incredible balance between strength and roundness, between woodiness and fruitiness.

This whiskey is the result of a blend of single malt whiskeys aged between 10 and 13 years in ex-bourbon and sherry casks.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Intense notes of exotic fruit unfold on the nose, complemented by peach and dried fruit, all in a very elegant woody dimension.
Gaumen
Palate		 The 2022 is very balanced on the palate and fluctuates between liveliness and sweetness. Notes of pear jam are underscored by a herbaceous dimension marked by hints of camphor and coriander.
Abgang
Finish		 Long and spicy, with notes of pepper and other, more earthy notes of leather and smoke on the finish.

    Armorik Single Malt ist ein Single Malt Whisky, der in der Brennerei Warenghem in Lannion in der Bretagne, Frankreich, hergestellt wird.

    Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde die Brennerei von der Familie Warenghem in Lannion, an der rosa Granitküste in Frankreich, gegründet.

    Léon Warenghem, der aus Nordfrankreich stammende Gründer, und seine Erben hatten ihren ersten Erfolg mit der Destillerie durch Pflanzenliköre. Elixir d'Armorique, eine Mischung aus 35 Pflanzen, ist das Aushängeschild der Brennerei, das im Laufe der Jahre auf internationalen Messen zahlreiche Auszeichnungen erhielt und vor allem jenseits des Atlantiks nach wie vor einen internationalen Ruf genießt. Elixir wird auch heute noch in der Brennerei hergestellt.

    Armorik, der erste Single Malt aus der Bretagne und Frankreich, wird 1998 offiziell eingeführt. Dieser Single Malt wird schnell zur treibenden Kraft der Destillerie.

    Armorik Double Maturation wurde 2013 bei den World Whiskies Awards zum besten europäischen Whisky gewählt und gewann 2014 bei der San Francisco World Spirits Competition die doppelte Goldmedaille. Die anderen Ausgaben von Armorik, Armorik Classic und Armorik Sherry, werden ebenfalls Auszeichnungen erhalten und das Prestige dieses Single Malt steigern.
