BESCHREIBUNG

Cask #17-598 is a first fill Marsala cask, bottled on August 23, 2017 and bottled on February 8, 2022 at 55.8% ABV. The spirit within is a peated whiskey distilled from malted barley that has been smoked to 50 PPM with the aromatic and inviting peat of the Scottish Highlands. Non-chill filtered and naturally colored, only 408 bottles are available from this single cask bottling.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Campfire smoke and tobacco leaves open to butterscotch, figs and a hint of marzipan.
Gaumen
Palate		 Sweet smoke and dark chocolate on the palate lead to a black pepper spiciness with notes of red apple, almonds and shortcrust pastry.
Abgang
Finish		 Long with lingering peppercorn spice and sweet smoke.
