DESCRIPTION
Since 2014, Glasgow Distillery has been revolutionizing its city's whisky scene with independent and innovative distillation using five German-made copper pot stills and premium Scottish barley. Marking Glasgow's first whisky distillery in over a century, their Glasgow 1770 Range—named after the original distillery's founding year—showcases a spectrum of Single Malts.

The distillery enriches its selection of fruity, peated, and triple-distilled expressions with diverse Single Cask and Small Batch releases. A standout, the Glasgow 1770 Manzanilla Sherry Cask, is their first wholly aged in a dry, white Manzanilla pre-used sherry cask.

Cask No. 18/218, a non-peated, double-distilled Glasgow spirit, has been maturing since March 12, 2018, in a Refill Manzanilla Sherry Butt, previously used for peated Single Malt Scotch aging. Bottled on July 25, 2023, this robust, fruity whisky blends notes of salty smoke, plum, dried apricot, and tropical papaya with undertones of leather, tobacco, dark chocolate, and bold espresso.
