Amrut enthüllt das neueste Werk der "Greedy Angels"-Kollektion: ein Spiegelbild seiner jahrzehntelangen Erfahrung in der hohen Kunst der Whiskyherstellung und ein Zeugnis für die Hingabe seiner Whisky-Macher.

Diese neue Spirituose reifte zunächst über 6 Jahre lang in Ex-PX-Sherry-Fässern, bevor sie in Ex-Bourbon-Fässer umgefüllt wurde - eine Umkehrung des üblichen Verfahrens der Amrut Distilleries. Das Ergebnis ist erfreulich und ein Essay in Eleganz! Dieser Whisky wurde mit 60 % vol. abgefüllt, um seine Tiefe und Komplexität zum Ausdruck zu bringen.

Dieses einzigartige Geschenkset besteht aus einer Flasche, zwei Glencairn-Kristallverkostungsgläsern und einem Glasstopfen.

Amrut Greedy Angels 12-years-old ist eine sehr seltene Edition, von der weltweit nur 240 Flaschen verkauft werden. NOTES DE DÉGUSTATION

Nez	Dies ist ein typischer komplexer Whisky mit einer starken Nase von dunklen Pflaumen, Pflaumen und Melonen. Dann tauchen Kokosnuss und Marzipan auf, die von dunkler Schokolade begleitet werden. Die Kombination aus Vanille und süßer Orange kommt langsam zum Vorschein. Es gibt eine Nuance von tropischen Früchten. Mit den Noten von Pflaumen und Zartbitterschokolade wird sehr deutlich, wie der umgekehrte Reifungsprozess funktioniert hat.
Bouche	Zu Beginn schreit die dunkle Schokolade, gefolgt von Marzipan und goldenem Sirup. Es folgen Noten von cremigen Vanilleschoten und Honig, kombiniert mit tropischen Früchten und orangefarbenen Zitrusfrüchten, die sehr weich sind. Ein Hauch von Minze deutet auf das tropische Alter dieses gealterten Whiskys hin.
Final	Komplex und vollmundig, die minzige Note weigert sich, zu verschwinden, mit einer sehr erfrischenden Note am Gaumen.
