  • Indri - Indian Whisky

Indri Trini, India's newest single malt whisky, has gained wide recognition and put the distillery from an unknown village on the map.

In the foothills of the Himalayas lies a small village called Indri. This picturesque place was selected by the Piccadily Distillery Group in 2012 as the location for their malt distillery. The malt distillery was the brainchild of the founder and chairman of the Piccadily Group, Sh. Vinod Sharma.

Today, the company is the largest independent malt manufacturer and seller of malt spirits in India. The malt distillery features six traditional Scottish copper pot stills, including three wash stills, each with 25,000 liters, and three spirit stills, each with 15,000 liters, producing 12,000 liters of malt spirit daily and 4 million liters annually.

The Sanskrit word "Indriya" or "Indris" also refers to the senses. From its pleasant, golden, amber color to its nutty, deep taste of roasted pineapple, citrus fruits, and raisins, Indri will tantalize your senses. The Indri Trini Single Malt has everything that makes a good drink.

The location on the banks of the Yamuna River, access to glacier water from the Himalayas, and the region's climate allow the malt to mature naturally faster in the barrels. Experiments with spirits and wooden casks also give Indri sweet tropical aromas and a rich natural color.
