Collection Crabbie - Highlands Single Malt Scotch Whisky

  • Crabbie - Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

You're probably more familiar with the name Crabbie's from Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Ginger Wine.

In the 19th century, John Crabbie was an independent bottler, single malt producer, and recognized blender, and the brand remained strong until the 1960s when it was acquired by Diageo.

After several changes in ownership, the distillery is now in the hands of Halewood Artisanal Spirits. Crabbie's Distillery is located very close to the original site from 1852 that John Crabbie acquired in the Leith area of Edinburgh, Scotland.

It will be a few more years before we see the new Crabbie's whisky from the Edinburgh distillery. However, the Yardhead, named after one of the streets from which Crabbie's originates, is a mysterious whisky, as it is a single malt from the Highlands, and that's all that is known.
