DESCRIPTION

Nc'nean steht an der Spitze der Innovation mit einem nachhaltigen Ansatz, der in der Reihe Quiet Rebels verkörpert wird. Diese Reihe würdigt die Menschen hinter der klimaneutralen Bio-Brennerei, die leisen Rebellen, 18 umweltbewusste Genießerinnen mit der gemeinsamen Mission, innovative und nachhaltige Spirituosen zu kreieren. Jeder von ihnen repräsentiert persönlich einen Whisky der Herbst-Serie, der aus neuen Fass-Experimenten oder Hefeversuchen entstanden ist und individuelle Lieblingseigenschaften widerspiegelt.

Der sympathische Distillery Manager Gordon, einer dieser leisen Rebellen, hat eine besondere Abfüllung ganz nach seinem Geschmack kreiert. Sein Nc’nean Quiet Rebels Gordon ist das Ergebnis einer sorgfältigen Auswahl von Fässern, darunter STR-Rotwein-, Sherry- und Rivesaltes-Fässer, die eine samtige, vollmundige und cremige Abfüllung hervorbringen. Die Kombination dieser Fässer resultiert in einem Whisky mit leicht erhöhter Trinkstärke, der köstliche Noten von Crème brûlée, Pflaumenmus mit Gewürzen und kandierter Orangenschale entfaltet.

Technische Details unterstreichen die Sorgfalt und das Engagement, das in die Herstellung dieses Whiskys geflossen ist. Die Fässer wurden zwischen September 2018 und Juli 2019 gefüllt, und die Abfüllung erfolgte zwischen August und September 2023. Mit 100% biologischer schottischer Gerste, Anchor und Fermentis Hefen, und einer Abfüllstärke von 48,5% ABV, zeugt jeder Tropfen des Nc'nean Quiet Rebels – Gordon von der Qualität und Tradition, die Nc’nean repräsentiert.

    The Nc'Nean Distillery, located on the Morvern Peninsula on the west coast of Scotland, is one of the youngest and most environmentally friendly whisky distilleries in the country. Founded in 2017, Nc'Nean became known as Scotland's first fully organic distillery and focuses on sustainable production methods. The distillery exclusively uses Scottish organic barley and operates its facilities with 100% renewable energy. The distillery aims to create new flavors while promoting eco-friendly practices.

    The name Nc'Nean is derived from "Neachneohain," the Queen of Spirits in Gaelic legend. Nc'Nean's first whisky release, launched in the spring of 2020, was characterized by a light and fruity profile, with notes of citrus, apricot, peach, and spices. The distillery has also released a series of special editions, including the "Quiet Rebels" series and the "Huntress" series, known for their unique flavor profiles and limited availability.

    A distinctive feature of the Nc'Nean Distillery is its commitment to sustainability. It is the first distillery in the UK to be certified as a net-zero emissions operation and uses 100% recycled glass for its bottles.
