DESCRIPTION
Der 2010 eingeführte Maker's Mark 46 war die erste neue Variante, die die Brennerei seit ihrer Eröffnung produzierte. Der Whiskey beginnt wie ein typisches Fass Maker's Mark, bekommt dann aber eine kleine Extra-Soße.

Makers Mark wählt spezielle Fässer für den 46er-Prozess aus. Diese speziellen Fässer werden mit einem Stück verkohlter französischer Eiche versehen und für den weiteren Reifeprozess eingesetzt. Der Name dieser Variante rührt daher, dass die verwendete Eiche als "Stave Profile #46" bezeichnet wurde.

TASTING NOTES
Nose Anklänge an französische Eiche und karamellisierten Zucker.
Palate Mild süß und einzigartig vielschichtig mit kräftigen Noten von Vanille, Karamell und Backgewürz.
Finish Weich, subtil und erfreulich lang.
