DESCRIPTION
Der Zauber der goldenen Stunde über der französischen Landschaft, der von Künstlern und Fotografen seit jeher festgehalten wird, ist die Inspiration für Mackmyra Limousin.

Ein fruchtiger, verspielter, sanft ausbalancierter schwedischer Single Malt Whisky, der überwiegend in Fässern aus französischer Eiche gereift ist, in denen zuvor Cognac aus sonnenverwöhnten Trauben gelagert wurde.

Die Aromen der Region sind für diesen Whisky von wesentlicher Bedeutung und werden durch die Verwendung französischer Limousin-Eichenfässer hervorgehoben, in denen zuvor Cognac des renommierten Cognac-Hauses Ferrand gelagert wurde. Um die Fruchtigkeit zu betonen, ergänzte die Brennerei die Rezeptur mit älteren Oloroso-Fässern sowie mit Beerenwein (Kirsch- und Waldhimbeerwein) getränkten Fässern, die dem Whisky eine interessante Komplexität und einen Hauch von Frische verleihen.

TASTING NOTES
Nose Fruchtig, mit Noten von süßen und Zitrusfrüchten. Ausgeprägte Vanille mit Trockenfrüchten, Pflaumen und Orangenschalen.
Palate Runder Geschmack mit Vanillekaramell, Trockenfrüchten, süßen Mandeln und dunkler Schokolade. Leichte Würze vom Eichenholz, mit leichten Noten von sauren Weintrauben, Ingwer und gereifter Birne.
Finish Weinig, sonnengereifte Trauben mit Eichennoten und weichem Birnenkaramell.

The distillery has made a name for itself by producing single malt whisky using exclusively Swedish ingredients.
