DESCRIPTION

Der Mackmyra DNA ist ein limitierter Small Batch Whisky, exklusiv aus 30-Liter-Fässern von Mackmyra hergestellt. Dieser Whisky zeichnet sich durch seine intensive Farbe und seinen reichhaltigen Geschmack aus. Es wird empfohlen, ihn 20-30 Minuten im Glas ruhen zu lassen, um seine volle Entfaltung zu erleben. Von diesem Whisky wurden nur 2727 Flaschen produziert.

Das Geschmacksprofil des Mackmyra DNA ist vielseitig und einladend: In der Nase dominieren Vanille und Schokoladenfudge, ergänzt durch Marzipan, Mandarine, Pflaumen sowie tropische Früchte wie Mango und Ananas. Am Gaumen setzen sich diese Aromen fort, angereichert durch rote Äpfel und kandierte Ingwer. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang und ausgewogen, mit würzigen und kräuterigen Noten von Zimt und Stroh, die durch die Bitterkeit der Eiche und die Süße roter Beeren ausbalanciert werden.

    Mackmyra is a Swedish whisky distillery founded in 1999 and located near the city of Gävle. The distillery has made a name for itself by producing single malt whisky using exclusively Swedish ingredients. Mackmyra operates its innovative Gravity Distillery, which opened in 2011 and is known for its environmentally friendly and efficient production. This distillery uses gravity to transport ingredients from top to bottom through the various production phases, significantly reducing energy consumption.

    Popular releases include Mackmyra Brukswhisky, known for its light, fruity notes with hints of vanilla and apple, and Mackmyra Svensk Rök, a smoky whisky with notes of peat and herbs.
