Heaven's Door Straight Rye Whiskey reift sieben Jahre lang in neuen, verkohlten amerikanischen Eichenfässern. Abweichend von der Tradition wird der Whiskey in getoasteten Zigarrenfässern aus Eiche gereift, die aus der tief gelegenen Bergregion der Vogesen in Frankreich stamme.

Dieser einzigartige und geschützte Veredelungsprozess, der noch nie zuvor bei der Whiskyherstellung angewandt wurde, führt zu einem sanfteren, zugänglicheren Roggen-Whiskey.

TASTING NOTES
Nose Kräuter, Apfel und Zitrusfrüchte, Minze und Eiche.
Palate Mit Honig überzogenes Marzipan, frisch geschnittenes Gras, Fenchel, Dill. Gewürznelke, Zimt, schwarzer Pfeffer und Orangenschale. Kamille und Zedernholz. Vanille-Toffee, nasses Holz, Schokoladenkekse, ein Hauch von Mango und ein Hauch von weißem Pfeffer.

  • Heaven's Door - American Whiskey

    Heaven's Door is a whiskey brand founded in 2015 by the legendary musician Bob Dylan in collaboration with Spirits Investment Partnership. The brand is based in Pleasureville, Kentucky, where the newly opened distillery is also located. This distillery spans 160 acres and utilizes sustainable practices, including the use of two underground aquifers for pure limestone water and geothermal heating and cooling systems for the buildings. Additionally, the distillery cultivates its own heirloom grains and recycles protein-rich mash for cattle feed on surrounding farms.

    Heaven's Door produces a range of handcrafted bourbon and American whiskeys that have received multiple awards, including the #1 Consumer Choice Award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021. The whiskeys are known for their uncompromising quality and ever-evolving range. An important part of the brand image is the connection to Bob Dylan's art, with his paintings and metalworks displayed in the distillery's brand experiences.
