DESCRIPTION

PEAT ist der perfekte Ausdruck eines rauchigen Whiskys, mit dem vollen Küstencharakter, den man von einem Inselwhisky erwartet, und einer ausgewogenen Süße.

Ob allein oder in einem Cocktail, er ist der torfige Whisky für alle, der ein Gleichgewicht zwischen ernsthaftem Rauchgeschmack und Spaß schafft.

Der Abfüller verwendete Whisky aus einer Handvoll Brennereien auf der ganzen Insel, um einen Islay Blended Malt zu kreieren, der den unterschiedlichen Charakter jeder einzelnen Brennerei in sich vereint und sich auf Islays berühmtestes Aroma - den Torf - konzentriert.

TASTING NOTES

Nose	Frische, spritzige Gerste, verwoben mit Torfrauch und Lagerfeuerglut. Belebende Aromen von salzigem Seetang und Muscheln. Viel saubere Frucht - Zitrone, Limette und Grapefruit, während sich darunter Noten von reicher Erde und Lakritze verbergen.
Palate	Warm und ledrig mit dickem Speck, Lagerfeuer am Meer und gebratenen Früchten: süßer Apfel und Limette mit einem Hauch von Streuzucker. Schichten von Rauch und schokoladigen Limetten umhüllen den Gaumen und verflechten sich mit weichem Zitronenöl und Barbecue-Sauce, mit einem Hauch von gerösteten Gewürzen und Fasskohle, die den Torf und den Rauch ergänzen.
Finish	Meeresgischt und Bratapfel verblassen und lassen schwereren Rauch, Trüffelsalz und süße Gewürze zurück.
