The ElsBurn The Harz represents the essence of German whisky craftsmanship from the Hercynian Distilling Co., which has been producing unique single malts in the Harz region since 2002. This family-run distillery emphasizes traditional methods, artisanal precision, and the use of local ingredients. With long fermentation times and an innovative spirit, they create whiskies that combine unadulterated quality with a flair for experimentation.

For ElsBurn The Harz, only locally sourced barley is used, forming the foundation for the quality of this single malt. The maturation takes place in a combination of First and Second Fill Sherry Hogsheads (87%) and First Fill Bourbon Barrels (13%). This carefully chosen cask composition highlights the distillery's signature style and accentuates the typical aromas even more than other editions such as "The Journey" or the "Distillery Edition."

With an alcohol strength of 46% vol., free from chill filtration and without added coloring, the whisky unfolds a harmonious flavor profile. Fruity notes of apricots, red berries, and tropical fruits are complemented by raisins, malt, and spicy oak. Creamy nuances of vanilla, caramel, and white chocolate complete the aroma, offering a balanced and complex taste experience.
