Jedes Jahr wird nur eine Charge Ardbeg 19 Years Old Traigh Bhan veröffentlicht. Dadurch ist diese Spirituose besonders begehrt und faszinierend. Nach 19 Jahren Reifung in Fächern aus amerikanischer Eiche und in ehemaligen Oloroso-Sherryfässern erfolgt die Filterung. So wird ein besonders weiches Mundgefühl sowie mehr Tiefe und Körper erzielt.

Dieser torfige, rauchige Single Malt, inspiriert von der felsigen Küste Traigh Bahns auf Islay ist wahrlich unvergleichbar. Jede Charge variiert leicht im Geschmack, sodass diesem ohnehin schon außergewöhnlichen Whisky weitere Qualitäten verliehen werden.

Wie die Wellen, die an den kantigen Felsen von Traigh Bahn brechen, erinnern die Aromen der dritten Charge an eine salzige Meeresbrise. Das kraftvolle Aroma wird um Noten von weichem Toffee, Rauch und Pinienharz ergänzt.

    Ardbeg's pioneering spirit extends beyond traditional whisky-making. In 2011, the distillery sent 20 vials of Ardbeg spirit and wood particles to the International Space Station, showcasing its commitment to innovation.
