DESCRIPTION
Die Caperdonich-Destillerie wurde 1897 von James Grant in dem Speyside-Dorf Rothes gegründet. Sie wurde als Schwesterbrennerei von Glen Grant gebaut und daher als Glen Grant #2 bezeichnet. Sie wurde jedoch 1902 geschlossen und erst 1965 wiedereröffnet. Erst dann wurde er in Caperdonich umbenannt, was aus dem Gälischen übersetzt so viel wie "geheimer Brunnen" bedeutet.

Dieser Caperdonich 18 Jahre alt ist besonders selten, da er getorften Alkohol enthält, der nur für kurze Zeit in der Brennerei hergestellt wurde. Der Caperdonich 18 Jahre alt reifte in First-Fill-Fässern aus amerikanischer Eiche (Ex-Bourbon) und wird mit 48% ABV abgefüllt.
